Founded in 2000 by the late Michael “Mick” Hunter, Hunter Plant Hire has developed into one of Londons largest plant hire providers. Serving projects nationwide for over 20 years, their main hub is based in North West London on the North Circular Road with direct links to the UKs main highways. This has enabled them to provide quality hire equipment & professional customer service from Kent to Cumbria!
Hunter Plant Hire plans to grow into the future by adopting a multi-faceted approach that focuses on expanding its services, investing in technology, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The company plans to develop its range of hire equipment to meet the growing demand from a wide range of clients in various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and energy. Additionally, Hunter Plant Hire aims to invest heavily in innovative technology that will help streamline its operations and enhance its customer’s experience. The company also plans to focus on training and development programs for its employees, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills to operate and maintain the latest equipment efficiently. Moreover, the company plans to continue building strong partnerships with its suppliers, complementing its already impressive fleet of rental equipment. By adopting this approach, Hunter Plant Hire aims to expand its reach beyond its current markets and become a leader in the plant hire industry, delivering exceptional service to its customers while promoting sustainable business practices.
Hunter Plant Hire are working towards a more sustainable future. We have done this by building a younger fleet with less working hours. We have started to source alternative consumables such as, bio oils/fuels, energy saving bulbs, hybrid and electric plant and machinery and more.
We have renewed our road fleet too to stay in line with Londons ULEZ & Congestion charging zones. We have also made a futuristic approach to our support services by researching paperless solutions to our ages ticketing process, allowing our staff to be more flexible with where they work and therefore impacting our carbon footprint significantly.
Hunter Plant Hire are dedicated to supporting local communities and increasing social value. Through engagement with communities affected by our works, charity work and sponsorship Hunter Plant Hire takes huge pride in the work they do.
In 2022 Director, Liam O’Malley helped raise over €200k for children with cancer and has since became one of the founders of one of Londons Vintage Tractor Charities, Tractor Fever.
